is the campaign still mandatory and long?

So OP, your solution to the 'dull and repetive' campaign is do the same four maps back to back for 10 hours straight with nothing to break it up? Like is it really that big of a burden to click through some dialog?

" Campaign is the learning phase and the maps are the challenging phase. A player with more than 2 years of experience in GGG games has nothing to do with learning. They need to function. They want farm, challenges and interactivity in combat elements. Do you go to university every time you want to work in a different industry? Neden yaşıyorsun? " The people who can do the campaign efficiently are usually not the same people who advocate for skipping it. Anyone efficient with it knows it's a non-issue. It's the players who do it once and then play the endgame on their one character the rest of the league. It might take them literally 20-30hrs to do the campaign because they do it once per league. There is a group of players who just want to focus on the loot casino simulator aspect of the endgame and literally nothing else. They won't be satisfied by anything other being able to immediately skip to and play a virtual slot machine. They know there is already a solution to their problem, they just don't like that solution lol. That's the problem with games that have slot machine mechanics - the group that plays the game solely for the slot machine mechanics will consider anything else in the game that's not the slot machine to be in the way of their "fun". Who am I to say anything, I don't respect my time either.

" I mean... Yes? Depends on how different those industries are, but if I'm a graphic designer and I go into Medical Research, I sorta need different degrees. I think your example works better if you get a new job in the -same- industry. And honestly you still often have to learn new systems and often do some sort of job training to acclimate to their new systems. Just like an experienced player may need to acclimate to new systems added by the league (or a new build). " Oh I'm aware. I don't even get through the campaign all that fast, I simply enjoy it. I just think it's funny that when you boil it down, the campaign is just a pile of random maps, each with a boss, and the solution people have to 'skip the boring part' is always 'do a bunch of random maps, each with a boss. Like, we've seen what level 1 maps and forever mines look like, their loot is no better or no more interesting than the campaign. |
