2m30s death timer on races? you've got to be joking with this shit

Edit: might as well remove Respawn at Checkpoint for the full alienation. Leaving it in with a 2m30 penalty is nonsensical, you would always just Respawn.

Or just go back to full HC while you're at it. Dunno why so many quasi-HC mechanics shoehorned in this game. Just stick to the clear separation of SC and HC the way players like it. Stop shoving HC down SC players' throats and vice-versa.


Also for the 2m30 thing, dying already has an inherent time loss penalty (the walk of shame etc). Dying will always slow you down vs someone who doesn't, the timer is superflous. It only serves to annoy and make us dislike this tedious ass early game even more.
