Why is the most profitable mechanic also the most mind numbingly boring ?

I cannot speak for temple i don't have a PHD in following youtube guides.

I have tried pretty much every min / max farm. Delirium(15 waves is to tedious), breach(to tedious), Ritual(my favorite but purple omens do not appear often and boss doesn't hardly drop any either) abyss(fun but not as profitable as..........

EXPEDITION

I get on average a logbook for every map i run. I may miss out on 2 or 3 maps but than there are maps i get 3 to 4 logbooks in one map. The average logbook yields about 25 to 27 Divine Orbs worth of splinters(they sell from 3 to 4 splinters per Divine). It takes me about 3 hours to run 50 logbooks which is how many i accumulate before i run them. It takes me 5 to 7 minutes to run an expedition waystone. So lets figure i net about 8 to 10 logbooks per hour. So lets round up and say it takes me 6 hours to net 50 logbooks and another 3 hours to run them. FYI i enter a logbook and look for a line that hits chests with splinters, remnants that increase chest quantity and map markers for level 15 maps. I make sure i don't hit anything that is immune to physical damage(only thing that bricks my build) and i am off.

So based on all of this i am netting about 144 to 146 Divine Orbs per hour. I am not complaining about the profit. I am complaining that it is so mind numbingly boring since nothing else other than the occasional Divine is worth picking up and can't understand why some of the other mechanics can't be more profitable so i am not locked into one mechanic to try and keep up with the economy. I would love the option to farm other league mechanics with the same level of profit.

Other mechanics are profitable, your sample size, and how to even run them is the issue.

Expedition splinters are .... not even close to the most profitable for a mechanic in poe2.

Mash the clean
No clue what my sample size means. I have run over 1500 logbooks and the math comes out to about 25 divines per logbook. I have kept a running log. Not sure how much more of a sample size you need.

If there are other mechanics than enlighten us. You bust back at me with sample size and offer nothing in return.

1)
I dont think you ran 1500 of anything in poe2 unless your death count is in the several hundreds... on logbooks

2) Sekhemas

Temple and sekehmas is the most profitable. I can do temple but hate sekehmas with a passion.
