Hand of the Lords - Incorrect description & functionality of Hexing capabilities

Hand of the Lords states "Inflict socketed Hexes on enemies that trigger your traps".

If a single enemy triggers the trap but other enemies are in range, that singular enemy will be inflicted with the hex.

If thrown into a mob of enemies, the SINGLE SELECTED enemy that triggers the trap will receive the hexes. Often prioritizing the weakest enemy.

What these gloves SHOULD say and do is: "Inflict socketed hexes on enemies hit by this trap". The convoluted design and activation requirements behind these gloves result in a non-functioning mechanic. This potentially even malfunctions BECAUSE of chain reaction, as other traps are "trigging alongside" whatever trap was triggered.

I literally did a harvest encounter, frontloaded it with traps, and saw zero enemies during and after the encounter have a curse.

Please fix.

Could it be that you confuse the meaning of words there. The enemy which triggers the trap getting the hex, while the spell that gets triggered from the trap could hit multiple enemies and actually "hit" something, the trap cannot.

"If thrown into a mob of enemies, the SINGLE SELECTED enemy that triggers the trap will receive the hexes."

This is what the text of the gloves say and what you also said.

It would prolly make more sense to have all enemies get a hex to make the gloves even remotely useful.

But for me those gloves sound more like some sort of a boss damage alternative, if you only fight 1 single enemy

Aye thats the primary issue. If somehow a singular enemy is the trigger of the trap they are the only enemy that gets hexed. If two enemies get registered, two get hexed. The skill literally has a rather large aoe coverage, so for it to not apply the hexes to all enemies "hit" or even "within the triggering radius" its suddenly a very clunky skill and not nearly so useful.

The thing is, its not actually consistent too. Sometimes 1 gets cursed, sometimes 5, sometimes the 1 that gets cursed is instantly obliterated because of the damage correctly applying. The skill gets a more modifier per curse while applying a curse (whether 20% per curse stacking or multiplying each other idk). Because of the current functionality, its extremely buggy.

Also if its functioning exactly as intended, the fact it has an unlisted 20% less curse effect modifier to socketed curses is heavily unreasonable when its not being applied to an entire mob (this was actually reported a while ago and still isn't fixed).

Yea you could potentially curse stack, the best idea for which is to use a deodre's chest to make curse totems & just blast the enemy with a huge more modifier.
