Character login

I tried logging in to my POE 1 character and I kept getting a instance error, made a new character and was able to login to my main character. This issue also happened when logging into my POE 2 character but I tried doing the same thing creating a new character and the issue still persists. Also changing servers didn't fix the issue. Thanks
