Failed to connect to instance errors on POE1 and POE 2

Hi,
Both POE1 and 2 giving me the error failed to connect to instance. I reinstalled the game, the error still exists on both games. Also tried to login from other locations buth the errors still exist. What can be done to get into the game? Last bumped on Apr 4, 2026, 9:17:26 PM

I'm having the same connection problem.I'm in Germany, and I've tested everything except reinstalling the game. But I still can't solve it; I get disconnected every time I switch maps. It's been over 10 hours, and I'm going crazy.

Same error here. Can now login, go to hideout, but get a failed to join instance error on trying to enter map. European servers.

this Problem should be solved soon. It is no fun.
I got the Error when ever I try to enter a HO. Mostly when buying but often enough when entering my own HO |

I have same problem, every time I try to enter map or someone's else hideout for trade i get disconnect..

I had the same problem, couldn’t get into the game with any character.
Switching to the Stockholm gateway worked for me. |

can confirm that 'Stockholm' works for me today too (normally Frankfurt)
