Act 4 Final boss

I killed the final boss in Act 4 but the hooded one was visually glitched inside the other character and the weapon to cure Tavakai and Makoru was moving on it own without it being in the hooded one hands. It wouldn't cure them no matter how long I waited so it wouldn't let me complete act 4 boss. I tried teleporting back to the main zone in act 4 and back into the boss room but it just kept repeating the glitch over. I had to reset the zone and fight the boss again to get around that bug.

I'm experiencing this as well. I just beat Tavakai twice (in a party with one other) and both times it has not let me progress. The Hooded One goes through the animation of reclaiming the weapon, but Tavakai is T-posing and the quest status remains "Witness the Hooded One cure Tavakai and Makoru".
